Visit Cannes
Cannes, famous for its Film Festival, is actually quite a small town, but one of many faces. Indeed, the centre itself presents three very different landscapes. The prestigious seaside promenade, La Croisette, the lively town centre flowing with boutiques, and the picturesque old port and Suquet hill which make up the old town. In May every year, during the Film Festival, star-watching the favourite past-time of locals and visitors alike, so if you want to get away from it all, don't visit in May.

Night Life Cannes is famous for its evening activities. Be prepared to do a little research on the venues within the city as some places can be very promiscuous and licentious; not particularly palatable to many.
The city boasts world famous casinos that require a suit for men and similar attire for women. Cannes has a variety of evening options, whether for the family, a couple, a group or a single person; the city caters for all kinds of people.
